Melinda MuscatA passion to creat beautiful things full of colour. I have exhibited widely since 1988 when I finished my Fine Arts degree at RMIT majoring in painting. I am originally from Melbourne, moving to Ballarat two years ago. In Ballarat I have found a sense of community friendship and support. My art is usually of a figuritive, surreal nature which evolves around colour, patterns and layering. I work across many mediums including oil painting, drawing, digital art, sewing etc. I like to mix mediums and so whatever it takes to create a beautiful image with no regard for boundries. I also work as a librarian and play drums in a punk rock band based in Ballarat, called The Pigs Arse. Life is about making Art! |

Colleen ShreenanI love most art and craft activities and whenever I get a chance to get into my inspirational zone, I like to get the paints or pastels out and have a bit of a play. I enjoy learning and participating in art classes when I can fit into the family scheduale. I have worked in oils, acrylics and pastels. I have a great appreciation for art and I am supportive of community development and enjoy participating in events which bring communities closer together. |
